About
Hi friend!
Thank you for being a part of the Girl Talk family. We are so glad you’re here.
We started Girl Talk as a way to alleviate the loneliness that we women experience as we progress through our lives. Did you know Millennials are considered "the loneliest generation" and women are twice as likely to have clinical depression as men?! We thought we needed a space just for us to share advice, stories and of course, have our special "girl talk".
Think of Girl Talk as your new best girl friend(s) to help you through the tough stuff. Ultimately, we hope Girl Talk is a space where you feel less lonely.
When using the site and engaging in the Girl Talk community, we have a few rules that reflect our values of radical inclusivity, empathy and friendship. Girl Talk is intended to be a safe space for authentic connections for those that identify as women regardless of race, ethnicity, political, social and religious beliefs. There is absolutely no room for hate on Girl Talk. We encourage users to be kind, thoughtful and compassionate. We ask that you take all advice with a grain of salt and remember that we are not professionals, but simply trying our best. For in-depth information on our rules, be sure to review our Content Policy.
Now go forth, and remember, your best will always be good enough.
Your friend(s),
Emily & The GT Team
